Vehicle Licensing Technician

Responsibilities

• Helping customers in person and over the phone with various transactions, including but not limited to processing vehicle titles, liens, registrations, and persons with disability placards.
• Receiving, sorting, logging, and processing mail-in and drop-off vehicle titles, liens, registrations, and persons with disability placards.
• Aiding customers in the waiting areas by answering questions, providing resources, scheduling appointments, and directing the flow of customers into the office.
• Enforcing Title and registration procedures established by Colorado Statutes, Rules, and Regulations of the Colorado Department of Revenue, as well as Larimer County Policies and Procedures.
• Enforcing Secure and Verifiable Identification procedures established by Colorado Statutes and Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Department of Revenue.
• Responding appropriately to difficult situations.
• Operating and maintaining a computerized database.
• Demonstrating knowledge of general office practices and procedures.

Qualifications

• One (1) year experience in a clerical or customer service field or in the performance of similar duties and responsibilities required.
• Possess reliable transportation to be able to work in any County facility as needed and required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Commission as a Notary Public within six (6) months of hire required.
