About the role

Naturescape of Menomonee Falls, WI is seeking a Vehicle Fleet & Small Engine Mechanic to maintain and repair a high‑volume fleet of vehicles and a wide assortment of small‑engine equipment across 41 locations. You will work in a fast‑paced, organized shop environment alongside a team of mechanics and a Fleet Manager.

Responsibilities

• Ensure uptime of the fleet by performing routine maintenance, engine diagnostics, brake repairs, and annual safety inspections on vans, pickup trucks, commercial mowers, blowers, and other small‑engine equipment.
• Use a tablet with custom‑built asset‑management software to track inventory, log repairs, and manage incoming service requests.
• Operate shop lifts and specialty tools required for heavy‑duty jobs.
• Provide and maintain your own primary toolbox at your station.
• Collaborate with fellow mechanics and the Fleet Manager to solve complex problems and share technical knowledge.
• Participate in “learning by doing” peer‑to‑peer training while maintaining the efficiency needed to support production needs.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Basic understanding of automotive and small‑engine mechanics (brakes, engines, and diagnostics).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb.
• Provide your own standard set of tools.
• Motivated with a desire to learn and grow.
