Vehicle Department Administrator

Responsibilities
- Manage engineering fleet vehicles, including production, pre-production, and buy-back units.
- Coordinate and distribute vehicles and distributor plates.
- Ensure timely entry and check-in/out of vehicle information into the vehicle tracker.
- Maintain accurate records in the vehicle management system for pre-production, production, and buy-back vehicles.
- Submit and track vehicle orders until arrival at NHQ.
- Ensure up-to-date vehicle maintenance.
- Track, confirm repairs, and returns of buy-back vehicles.
- Coordinate with the engineering garage for vehicle repairs.
- Assist with internal and external vehicle loans, ensuring cleared motor vehicle records, valid loan agreements, and insurance placements are in place.
- Prepare and coordinate VIP/Executive vehicle loans.
- Vehicle preparation for departmental uses, such as marketing, media, and special events.
- Support engineering events including benchmarking and testing.
- Conduct routine and ad hoc data entry and reporting.
- Generate bi-weekly vehicle inventory reports (department vehicles and buybacks).
- Provide weekly owner's manual status reports.
- Update monthly and annual governance and syndicated templates.
- Conduct monthly Quick Reference Guide (QRG) reviews and tracking.
Requirements
- Recent college graduates with 6 months – 1 year of analytical and reporting experience.
- BA/BS degree required.
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting with all management levels.
- Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Schedule
Full Time, Monday–Friday (8am – 5pm), On-Site in Fountain Valley.
Pay
The wage range for this role is $20 to $24 hourly, based on current experience. Factors considered include skill sets, experience, training, and business or organizational needs.
