Vehicle Delivery Driver

About the role

We're looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and self-motivated team players with at least 2 years of customer-facing experience to deliver vehicles straight to customers' doors with our custom car haulers (commercial license not required—ample training provided). You'll also load/unload vehicles onto the hauler, complete customer paperwork, include thorough notes in our customer tracking system, and consistently drive safely while maintaining a clean driving record.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of customer-facing experience
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks like detailing vehicles and loading/unloading vehicles onto haulers in indoor and outdoor conditions with occasional exposure to inclement/extreme weather (some markets may require deliveries in snow, others in summer heat)
• Ability to walk/stand and sustain physical activity for extended periods (8+ hours)
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Requires high and low levels of movement with the ability to reach with arms, twist, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and squat
• Requires grasping, carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling of items of 50 lbs
• Frequent driving requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity
• Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license
• Must maintain a clean driving record in accordance with Carvana's CMV Driver Qualification policy
• Candidates must have (or be able to obtain) a Notary in your local jurisdiction within the first 90 days (process sponsored by Carvana)
• Candidates must be able to satisfy state-specific requirements related to access DMV/title and registration systems
• Illinois, Michigan, Louisiana, and Missouri employees must obtain a Chauffeur's license or any other state specialty license within the first two weeks (process sponsored by Carvana)
• California employees must obtain a Vehicle Verifier license within the first 90 days (process sponsored by Carvana)
• Must pass a drug test and obtain a DOT Medical Card
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship

Schedule

• Hours: 7am–5pm, 9am–7pm, or 11am–9pm
• Available to work 7 days a week; days off rotate between weekdays and weekend days

Pay

• Starting hourly rate: $17/hr
• At 3 months: $17.50/hr
• At 6 months: $18/hr
• In your first year, progress from $17/hr to $19/hr through performance-based Careers Not Jobs program (four merit opportunities annually, $0.50 increase every 90 days)
• Market Operations may offer additional performance-based incentive programs specific to your location
