We're scaling fast, and we're building the next generation of leaders to scale with us. Job Summary Every car Flexcar hands to a member gets washed outside and cleaned inside first. You do that work. A car comes to you dirty, and a short time later it is ready for someone to drive off the lot in. The pace is real. Most cars take about 20 to 35 minutes inside, and about 40 minutes of wash time outside. We are not a detail shop, and we are not asking you to spend an hour making one car perfect. We are asking you to turn out car after car at a steady clip, every one of them right. That second part matters as much as the first. The member opening that door has never seen the car before. Streaks on the glass, crumbs in the seat track, a smudged screen, and they notice. If you are the kind of person who cannot walk away from a job half done, and who can also keep moving, this is your job. You will be assigned to exterior wash or interior cleaning day to day depending on what the site needs, so you must be able to do both well. What You’ll Do Wash, rinse, and dry vehicle exteriors, including wheels, glass, and door jambsClean interiors to the assigned level: vacuum, wipe down surfaces, clean glass and screens, and finish trunks and door pocketsWork to the standard time for each car and let your lead know when a car needs more than it was graded forCheck each car as you finish it and fix your own misses before it leaves your handsFlag damage, warning lights, low fuel, and anything a member left behindMove and park cars safely on the lotKeep your bay, tools, and supplies clean and stocked, and tell your lead when something runs low or breaksFollow chemical handling and safety rules, and wear the required protective gear What Good Looks Like Here Cars you finish pass inspection for the first time. Rework is rare.You hit the standard time consistently, not just on your best days.You consistently meet or exceed your efficiency target.You are here for your shifts, on time, and your crew can count on you. What We’re Looking For Pride in finishing work. You notice the small stuff and you fix it.Speed with consistency. You have worked somewhere that had a clock on it and you were good at it.Car wash, detailing, rental or dealership lot, housekeeping, or similar hands-on experience is a plus. If you have not done this before but you work fast and clean, we will train you.Comfortable working outdoors in all weather, on your feet for a full shift, and lifting up to 50 poundsValid driver’s license and a clean driving recordAt least 18 years oldAvailable for weekend shiftsBilingual English and Spanish is a plus What Tops The Tank Hourly pay with overtime, paid weeklyMedical, dental, and vision coverageRetirement plan with automatic enrollment at 3%Paid time offPaid training.
