Vehicle Acquisition Specialist

Mercedes-Benz of North Haven is expanding and seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to join our dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a reputable and growing automotive environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage with potential sellers to acquire pre-owned vehicles through in-person visits, online inquiries, and phone calls
• Accurately appraise vehicles based on current market conditions and dealership standards
• Build rapport with customers to create a positive, transparent selling experience
• Collaborate with sales and inventory teams to ensure smooth vehicle intake
• Maintain accurate records of appraisals, purchases, and customer interactions
• Met or exceed vehicle acquisition goals and performance metrics

Qualifications

• Previous experience in automotive or a related customer-facing role
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
• Ability to assess vehicle condition — body, cosmetic, and mechanical
• Highly coachable with a growth mindset and willingness to learn
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
