Vegas - Facilities Technician

About the role

Assist with the maintenance of production equipment, software, engineering, IT issues, general building/plumbing maintenance and repair, and warehouse maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Organize Preventative Maintenance of facility equipment to include autoclaves, ovens, refrigerators, incubators, and other equipment used in product.
• Troubleshoot Smart View and Lighthouse systems.
• Commission and qualify new equipment.
• Recertify existing equipment.
• Review and file equipment certificates.
• Manage Calibration and requalification schedules.
• Execute IQ, OQ, and PQ.
• Manage incoming specifications for equipment.
• Storage container organization.
• Coordinates delivery schedules for any local couriers.
• Coordinate and assist with inventorying (i.e., stocking, organization) with all incoming equipment, this includes transporting to their proper locations in the warehouse facility.
• General maintenance as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and in small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical systems, air compression, and mechanical and electrical schematics.

Working Conditions

• This position requires standing for extended periods of time including majority of shift.
• Walking, kneeling and bending frequently.
• Pushing/Pulling totes of product on carts.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move totes of product weighing up to 50 pounds. We strongly encourage team lift.
• Employee will be required to read small print.
