VDI EUC Engineer
Job Qualifications
- 8 + years of related experience
- Hands-on experience with: VMware Horizon, Wyse Management Suite, Liquidware
- Strong knowledge of Windows Desktop operating systems and desktop lifecycle management
- Experience with profile management technologies and application virtualization
- Experience with network concepts including DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP, and Load Balancing
- Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Knowledge of EUC security best practices and Zero Trust Architecture
- Experience with automation and DevOps practices

Benefits
Golden Image Management: Build, maintain, and optimize Windows golden images for VDI environments. Utilize HashiCorp Packer to automate image creation, maintenance, testing, and deployment processes. Implement image versioning, standardization, and lifecycle management practices. Validate application compatibility and operating system configurations before production releases. Automate image deployment and maintenance processes where possible.
Security, Compliance & Hardening: Implement and maintain STIGs and security baselines. Perform operating system hardening and vulnerability remediation activities. Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements. Partner with cybersecurity teams to address findings from vulnerability scans and audits. Support patch management and endpoint security initiatives.
Monitoring & Operations: Utilize monitoring and observability tools to proactively identify and resolve infrastructure issues. Analyze performance metrics, logs, alerts.
