VDH Infrastructure Solutions Architect

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Solutions Architect to serve as a Solutions Engineer within the Solutions Engineering & Architecture Team (SEAT). This role is responsible for evaluating, designing, and guiding implementation of secure, scalable, interoperable, and supportable technology solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards. Working closely with OIM (Office of Information Management), the Solutions Engineer collaborates with infrastructure teams, cloud engineers, application developers, security, data teams, and enterprise architects to translate business needs into actionable technical designs. The ideal candidate brings strong technical engineering expertise, architectural thinking, and hands-on experience across modern infrastructure platforms—both cloud and on-premises—to help build and sustain resilient, long-term technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable solutions aligned with enterprise standards
• Partner with OIM and teams to turn business needs into technical designs
• Guide implementation of secure, scalable, interoperable, and supportable technology solutions
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams, cloud engineers, application developers, security, data teams, and enterprise architects

Required / Desired Skills

• 3 to 4 years of experience with each of the following:
  • Azure, AWS, Google Cloud
  • Azure App Service, AKS, Functions, Storage, Databases
  • Docker, Kubernetes
  • C#, Java, Python, Go, Node.js
  • Azure DevOps, GitLab
  • IAM, Data Protection, Cloud Security Best Practices
  • SQL Server, Oracle, NoSQL Databases
  • Agile Methodologies, DevOps Practices
• Strong communication, problem solving, and collaboration skills
