VDC Modeler

On-siteArt & Creative$28–$35/hrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? The posting includes company description at start. Could treat as "About the role" or maybe "About the company". The instructions: use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and

for prose. Do NOT repeat the job title as a heading (the page already shows it) and do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it. Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. IMPORTANT: include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it — never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g. "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. Output ONLY the HTML fragment — no /, no markdown code fences. We need to decide which sections to include. The posting includes: company description (maybe "About the role" or "About the company"). Then "Job Summary". Then "Minimum Qualifications". Then "Key Responsibilities". Then "Qualifications". Then "What We Offer". Then "Why Join Precision Surveying & Consulting?" (maybe part of benefits or culture). Then "How To Apply" (application instructions) - we must remove. Then EEO boilerplate etc - remove. We need to map to allowed headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We have content for: About the role (company description + job summary). Responsibilities (Key Responsibilities). Requirements (Minimum Qualifications). Qualifications (maybe separate from Requirements? Could combine). Skills (maybe list of software proficiencies). Benefits (What We Offer). Pay (Salary range). Schedule (Hours). We must only include sections if posting has real specific content. It does have salary: "$28 to $35 Hour". It has schedule: "Monday-Friday 7:30 am – 3:30 pm (Hours will vary as needed)". So we can include Pay and Schedule sections. We must not include placeholder like "commensurate with experience". Salary is specific numeric range, good. We need to avoid duplication: Minimum Qualifications and Qualifications sections both exist. Could combine? But we have separate headings allowed: Requirements and Qualifications. We could put Minimum Qualifications under Requirements, and the later Qualifications (education, experience, skills) under Qualifications. Or we could merge but better to follow posting. Skills: we could list software proficiencies etc. Could be under Skills heading. Benefits: "What We Offer" includes competitive salary (but we already have Pay), 401(k), health/dental/vision, disability, PTO, training. So Benefits section. We need to preserve all substantive info, not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to keep details like specific software names, etc. We need to use

    • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. For prose, use

. So for sections like Responsibilities, we need to output a

        with each responsibility as
      • . For Requirements (minimum qualifications) also list. For Qualifications (education/experience etc) also list. For Skills maybe list. For Benefits list. We need to avoid repeating job title as heading. So no heading for "VDC Modeler". Good. We need to fold minor metadata like FLSA: Non-Exempt, Reports to VDC Manager into a short

or drop it. Probably include as a short paragraph under About the role or maybe separate? Could be a

with that info. We need to remove application instructions (How To Apply). Remove EEO boilerplate etc. We need to output only HTML fragment. Let's structure:

        About the role

At Precision Surveying & Consulting, Inc., we are committed to delivering high-quality, accurate, and efficient land surveying services. Our team thrives on collaboration, innovation, and integrity, ensuring that every project is executed with precision and professionalism. We invest in the latest surveying technology and provide our employees with growth opportunities, strong leadership, and a supportive work environment.

The VDC (Virtual Design and Construction) Modeler is responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining accurate 3D models and digital construction documentation for project coordination, visualization, and execution. This role works closely with project managers, field teams, and clients to ensure that project models align with design intent and support construction activities, including clash detection, quantity take-offs, and construction sequencing.

FLSA: Non-Exempt. Reports to VDC Manager.

        Then Responsibilities:

        Responsibilities

        • Develop and maintain detailed 3D models for use in construction coordination, clash detection, and visualization.
        • Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Field Crews to ensure models accurately reflect construction needs and field conditions.
        • Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and submittals to create precise models.
        • Perform clash detection and assist in resolving conflicts through coordination meetings.
        • Generate shop drawings, lift drawings, and installation sequences from models.
        • Assist in developing 4D (schedule-based) and 5D (cost-based) models when applicable.
        • Integrate survey data and as-built conditions into models as needed.
        • Prepare models for use in field layout, including exporting to robotic total stations or GPS devices.
        • Participate in project meetings to communicate VDC deliverables and coordination issues.
        • Manage model updates and version control throughout the project lifecycle.
        • Support the implementation of VDC standards, best practices, and process improvements.
        Then Requirements (Minimum Qualifications):

        Requirements

        • Experience with Trimble Business Center, Leica Cyclone, or similar scanning and survey software.
        • Knowledge of 4D/5D modeling and scheduling integration tools (e.g., Synchro).
        • Familiarity with cloud-based model collaboration platforms like Autodesk BIM 360 or Trimble Connect.
        Then Qualifications (education/experience etc):

        Qualifications

        • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
        • 1–3 years of experience in BIM/VDC modeling for construction projects.
        • Proficiency in software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Carlson.
        • Familiarity with 3D laser scanning, point clouds, and photogrammetry is a plus.
        • Experience working with survey data and construction layout is preferred.
        • Strong understanding of construction processes, plans, and specifications.
        • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
        • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
        • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
Then Skills? Could be covered already. But we could add a Skills heading for software proficiencies etc. However we already listed many under Qualifications. Might be redundant. The instruction: prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. So maybe we skip Skills and keep Qualifications covering skills. Then Benefits:

        Benefits

        • Competitive Salary based on experience
        • 401(k) retirement plan with company match
        • Health, dental and vision insurance
        • Short-term, Long-term disability insurance
        • Paid Time Off (PTO) with Holiday Pay
        • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities
But note: "Competitive Salary based on experience" is vague; we have specific Pay section later. Might be redundant. However we need to include Pay section separately with actual numbers. The Benefits section could exclude the salary line to avoid duplication. But we must preserve all substantive info; the "Competitive Salary based on experience" is substantive but we already have Pay section with actual range. Could keep it but it's somewhat generic. Might be okay. Then Pay:

        Pay

Salary: $28 to $35 per hour

        Then Schedule:

        Schedule

Hours: Monday‑Friday 7:30 am – 3:30 pm (Hours will vary as needed)

We also have "Full-Time Position: 40 Hrs". Could include in schedule or pay? Could add to schedule: "Full-Time Position: 40 hrs per week". Let's include. We need to avoid duplication: we already have schedule line; we can add full-time note. Now check for any boilerplate removed: we removed How To Apply, EEO, etc. Check for any duplicated lines: we have not duplicated. Check for any placeholder text: we have no "commensurate with experience" etc. The Pay section is specific. Schedule is specific. Now ensure we used

        for each section heading. Use
        • for lists. Use

for prose. We have About the role with two paragraphs and a short paragraph for FLSA/Reports. That's fine. We have Responsibilities as list. Requirements as list. Qualifications as list. Benefits as list (excluding salary line maybe). We'll keep benefits list without salary. Pay as paragraph. Schedule as paragraph. Now check if any content missing: The company description about investing in latest technology etc is included. The job summary included. The FLSA and Reports to VDC Manager included as short paragraph. We didn't include "Why Join Precision Surveying & Consulting?" which is basically culture statement. Could be considered part of About the role or Benefits? It's substantive but not covered elsewhere. Could add a short paragraph under About the role after the job summary. But we already have About the role with company description and job summary. Could add another paragraph: "At Precision Surveying & Consulting, Inc., we believe in fostering a culture of teamwork, innovation, and precision. We equip our team with state-of-the-art technology, provide opportunities for growth and career advancement, and support a work environment where all team members’ contributions are valued." That is substantive. Should we include? Yes, we should preserve all substantive information. So we need to include that somewhere. Could add as another

under About the role. Thus About the role will have three paragraphs: company description, job summary, culture statement. Now check if any other content: "VDC Modeler Full-Time Position: 40 Hrs Salary: $28 to $35 Hour FLSA: Non-Exempt Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30 am – 3:30 pm (Hours will vary as needed) Reports to VDC Manager". We have captured Full-Time 40 hrs maybe in schedule. We have salary in Pay. We have FLSA and Reports in About the role. We have hours in Schedule. Now check for any other content: "Job Summary:" we used. "Minimum Qualifications" we used as Requirements. "Key Responsibilities" we used. "Qualifications" we used. "What We Offer" we used as Benefits (excluding salary). "Why Join Precision Surveying & Consulting?" we added as culture statement. Now ensure we didn't include any boilerplate like "The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer..." etc. Removed. Now
