VCUarts Adjunct Instructor - Department of Photography + Film

Summary

The VCUarts Department of Photography + Film is establishing a pool of applicants for adjunct teaching positions. The Department will consult the adjunct applicant pool and contact qualified applicants for interviews on an as-needed basis.

Adjunct

• Provide course instruction in areas such as analog and digital photography, lighting, digital video, or composition and design principles.
• Courses can require in-person teaching or online instruction.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree in a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Appropriate teaching experience and/or strong oral presentation and communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience fostering an inclusive environment.

Schedule

This position works at the Cabell Library Information Desk on the Monroe Park Campus. Two hourly positions are being filled, scheduled to work Monday - Thursday. The morning shift works 10am - 3pm for a total of 20 hours.

Salary range: VCUarts Standard Adjunct Per Credit Rate
