Requirements

• Current valid REAL ID required to work at Veterans Canteen Service.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend constantly.
• Ability to lift or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted.

Skills

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• One year of experience in the service industry preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with retail software and point-of-sale systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists customer in locating products & provides detailed information to enhance their shopping experience.
• Handles sales transactions efficiently using a cash register - ensuring accuracy & customer satisfaction.
• Restocks merchandise and ensures products are properly labeled for display.
• Maintains a clean & organized store environment - ensuring a pleasant & efficient shopping experience.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
