Vault Technician

About the role

As a Vault Technician at TerrAscend, you’ll pick and package orders for drivers and deliveries, and handle intake for finished products in our grow/processing facility. This role is key to ensuring accurate inventory, compliance, and timely shipments in a fast-paced cannabis environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform counts and quality checks to ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy.
• Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventory.
• File claims when defective products are discovered.
• Check date-sensitive products for expiration and facilitate removal or transfer of product as needed.
• Pick and pack orders for shipments, verifying correct quantities per order.
• Work in a team setting and fill out compliance forms on a regular basis.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• High attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Ability to follow direction and work with computer systems (preferred but not required).
• Self-motivated, willing to learn, and able to maintain a positive attitude.
• Must be able to pass a background check and be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
• Must remain compliant with all company regulations.

Environmental Factors

This position requires working in an environment with a high amount of plant matter and pollen. Areas of the facility may reach high or low temperatures with high humidity levels. Exposure to dust, plant matter, and particles that may affect the respiratory system, eyes, or skin is possible. Employees are required to wear protective gear and may opt for eye and ear protection. Certain areas use harsh chemicals (e.g., bleach) for cleaning, and repetitive movements may be required.

Physical Requirements

• Able to push, pull, lift, or move a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Capable of sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, squatting, and/or walking for extended periods.
• Capable of using hands and fingers to touch, handle, feel, and pick.
• Able to work with hazardous chemicals (e.g., butane, propane) following strict safety guidelines.
• Must wear PPE (protective clothing), close-toed non-slip shoes, and optional ear/eye protection.

Pay

$16 USD per hour.
