Responsible for providing cash service needs of the cage and casino staff, while ensuring accuracy of documentation and cash/chip flow for designated banks.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure internal guest satisfaction by providing prompt, efficient, and friendly service.
  • Adhere to strict regulatory standards and procedures.
  • Accurately verify and exchange chips, slot tickets, and cash with employees.
  • Issue keys according to policy.
  • Comply with regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.
  • Adapt to operational changes, schedules, job assignments, procedures, etc.
  • Promptly report suspicious activity or concerns to the supervisor or manager.
  • Promote a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for employees and guests.
  • Quickly address safety threats and report all concerns to the supervisor.
  • Ensure equipment, tools, and materials are operated safely.
  • Participate and attend designated meetings, training, and activities as directed.
  • Promote internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
  • Other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or cage manager.

Qualifications

  • Minimum one (1) year of cashier/cash handling experience.
  • High School Diploma/GED or ten (10) years of experience.
  • Detail-oriented, good with numbers and money, and possess legible handwriting skills.
  • Physically fit – able to stand for long periods in a noisy environment; perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers; lift and maneuver up to 25 lbs.
  • Effective communication skills – able to verbally instruct, respond to questions, and demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities.
  • Exhibits a professional and positive demeanor and appearance.
  • Requires a High-Security Gaming License clearance.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Pay

$15.00–$17.00 per hour plus $0.70 per hour in tips.
