Vault / AA&E Support Specialist

The Vault / AA&E Support Specialist will support processing, physical distribution, and logistics services in support of the Texas Army National Guard.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up to date documentation for vault #1 and vault #2
• Daily: Arms and ammunition inspections (typically opening/closing the vault)
• Monthly: ESS alarm tests and access roster updates
• Semi-Annually: Comprehensive Electronic Security System alarm tests
• TXARNG-specific forms to annotate inspections (will be provided)
• Communicate with Electronic Security System personnel on vault alarm issues i.e. monthly alarm test, alarm faults, semi-annual alarm test
• Update access roster
• Security documentation and coordination.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience
• Must satisfy installation/security access requirements and be trained/qualified for assigned AA&E/vault duties; zero-deviation performance standard
• Tier 1 Investigation
• CAC card or ability to obtain one
• Forklift license if/when operating forklift
• Applicants selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
