Role Overview
Perform diagnostic cardiac and vascular imaging exams to assist physicians in identifying abnormalities and diagnosing patients. Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate, high-quality imaging results while providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Execute ultrasound and vascular exams using specialized equipment, following departmental protocols.
- Prepare patients by identifying them, educating about procedures, and ensuring safety and comfort.
- Coordinate exams with medical staff, schedule procedures, and document results accurately.
- Maintain and clean equipment, stock supplies, and support quality improvement initiatives.
- Mentor team members and students in equipment use and procedural techniques.
Qualifications & Skills
- ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong technical competence, patient care skills, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.

- Ability to see, read, and interpret information accurately.
- Effective verbal communication and quick understanding of spoken information.
- Manual dexterity for operating delicate equipment and performing procedures.
- Capacity to lift, transfer, and assist with patient mobility and equipment transport.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and navigate busy clinical environments.
