Vascular Technician - Sign-On Bonus

About the Role

This position performs diagnostic cardiac and vascular exams under a physician's supervision to identify abnormalities. It is ideal for recent graduates or those with minimal experience in echocardiography.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence in performing diagnostic exams
• Schedule and prepare for exams
• Ensure patient safety and comfort
• Document results accurately
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment
• Support quality improvement initiatives
• Mentor colleagues and provide education to patients and caregivers

Requirements

• ARDMS or CCI certification in sonography
• BLS certification

Qualifications

Preferred candidates have:

• A Bachelor's degree
• 1+ years of experience in echocardiography
• Advanced credentials such as additional registry certifications or extensive echocardiography experience

• Proficiency in sonography techniques

• Patient instruction and education
• Quality assurance and improvement

Physical Requirements

• Ability to see and read computer screens and documents
• Capability to lift and transfer patients
• Operate sonography and related equipment

Pay

$39.16 to $60.42 per hour
