Position Overview

Stony Brook Southampton Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Vascular Surgeon to join its surgical team. The role involves providing comprehensive vascular care, including advanced endovascular procedures, open surgical interventions, and inpatient/outpatient services. The position also includes teaching residents and fellows, participating in scholarly activity, and engaging in clinical research and trials.

Required Qualifications

• MD/DO (or foreign equivalent)
• Eligibility for or license to practice in New York
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery
• Completion of an accredited vascular residency or fellowship
• Experience in clinical research and academic productivity

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven success in clinical research and trials
• Experience supervising medical students, residents, or fellows

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality vascular care
• Supervise and teach trainees
• Participate in clinical research and academic publications
