Vascular Sonographer

About the role

We are seeking a Full-Time Registered Vascular Sonographer to perform vascular ultrasound examinations, including carotid imaging, peripheral Doppler, abdominal/renal ultrasound, and fistula scans. This role supports the cardiovascular diagnostic services in a hospital setting, contributing to patient diagnosis and care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vascular imaging procedures accurately and document results.
• Operate and ensure equipment readiness and functionality.
• Perform studies independently, including portable and on-call exams as needed.

Requirements

• Associate degree or Trade School equivalency.
• Certification as RVT, RVS, or equivalent (ARDMS or CCI registered).

Preferred: less than 2 years of experience, but recent graduates or students are also considered.

Skills

• Knowledge of vascular imaging techniques.
• Ability to operate ultrasound equipment and document procedures accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and independent working skills.
