Vascular/Interventional Radiologist - Locum Coverage

About the role

This role is for an inpatient Vascular/Interventional Radiologist who will provide on-site coverage Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with weeknight and weekend call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional procedures such as biopsies, cysts, aspirations, paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar punctures, and arthrograms, averaging 8-15 procedures per day.
• Conduct general diagnostic imaging between procedures using Powerscribe 360 for dictation and McKesson PACS with Philips IR equipment.
• Provide inpatient care for an adult patient population.
• Collaborate with a team of four MDs within a group of 22.

Requirements

• Board certification in radiology.
• Experience with interventional radiology procedures and diagnostic imaging modalities (e.g., ultrasound, fluoroscopy).
• Proficiency with Powerscribe 360, McKesson PACS, and Philips IR equipment.
• Ability to handle a high-volume workload and manage call responsibilities.
