Requirements

  • BLS
  • Graduate of an accredited Cardio Vascular US program
  • 1 year of experience in acute care setting
  • TEE experience
  • Registration with the ARRT or ARDMS or CCI in Vascular Sonography
  • Perm address within 50 miles of facility Vicksburg, MS, United States

Responsibilities

  • Perform vascular echocardiograms to assess patient cardiovascular health.
  • Analyze echocardiogram results and provide detailed reports to physicians.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during procedures.
  • Maintain and calibrate echocardiography equipment to ensure accurate results.
  • Stay updated with the latest echocardiography techniques and technologies.
  • Track and report on individual performance metrics and targets.
  • Manage patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to develop patient care plans.
  • Educate patients about the echocardiography process and answer their questions.
  • Contribute to a high-visibility work environment by sharing progress and results.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills.
  • Aid in developing strategies to improve echocardiography services.
