Vascular Access Nurse

About the role

Provides leadership in delivering professional nursing care aimed at patient comfort and well-being. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and education for patients and families. Implements medically prescribed interventions.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Current RN licensure in North Carolina; eNLC license may apply.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; national certification in specialty preferred.
• At least one year of hospital nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate high-quality nursing care, supervise staff, and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Support patient education and implement care plans per physicians' prescriptions.
