This role is part of the Valuation function, focusing on inspecting and determining the values of land, property, and businesses for clients in their office location or specialty field.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all property tax appeals are prosecuted timely, efficiently, and accurately within state laws.
- Implement critical initiatives to meet office objectives.
- Oversee profit and loss and budgeting for the office or specialty.
- Develop and implement practice policies and procedures to increase operational efficiencies.
- Coordinate and lead a local office or specialty team of 2-10 people.
- Provide formal supervision to individual employees, including identifying training needs, tracking performance, mentoring, and motivating team members.
- Model behaviors consistent with the company’s values.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of property tax advocacy experience.
- Supervising or leadership experience preferred.
- Certificates and/or licenses as required by state licensing bodies.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers.
- Ability to present information and respond effectively to issues.
- In-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles.
- Ability to calculate complex figures, forecast, and prepare budgets.
- Conduct financial and business analysis, including report preparation.
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
- Advanced analytical and quantitative skills to solve problems involving multiple options.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $100,000.00 to $400,000.00 annually, depending on skills, qualifications, and experience.
