Job Summary

This job is a sophisticated thought partner who uses specialized expertise to identify issues and recommend best practices. Essential Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Sales Extension & Revenue Growth
    • Partner with Account Managers to identify, develop, and close VAS and Payouts opportunities within assigned verticals.
    • Drive adoption of Risk as a Service (RAS), including fraud protection, chargeback management, dispute solutions, and optimized routing.
    • Lead Payouts strategy discussions, with emphasis on Hyperwallet for complex disbursement use cases (e.g., education, gig economy, marketplaces).
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for VAS and Payouts product inquiries, proactively addressing merchant needs to shorten sales cycles and reduce integration friction.
    • Position VAS as a strategic differentiator in Braintree/PPCP deals, demonstrating incremental value beyond core processing.
    • Product Expertise & Merchant Advisory
    • Develop deep expertise in PayPal's VAS portfolio, including Fraud Protection Advanced, dispute management solutions, and routing optimization.
    • Maintain strong working knowledge of Hyperwallet capabilities, compliance considerations, and common implementation challenges.
    • Translate technical product capabilities into clear business value for merchant stakeholders.
    • Anticipate merchant ecosystem requirements and align PayPal's solutions to evolving risk and payout needs.
    • Solutioning & Cross-Functional Coordination
    • Once merchant interest and ecosystem requirements are established, engage solutioning and technical resources to finalize design and implementation plans.
    • Ensure seamless continuity between sales and delivery teams, maintaining accountability throughout the sales-to-implementation handoff.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Risk, Compliance, Engineering, Implementation) to ensure successful execution of complex enterprise engagements.
    • Support accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and revenue reporting within assigned verticals.
    • Vertical Ownership
    • Own primary vertical coverage with additional sub-vertical support as needed.
    • Drive focused revenue growth across assigned segments, leveraging pipeline data and market opportunity insights.

Pay Information

The pay for this role will depend on where you work and the relevant experience and expertise you bring. The expected range of pay, including base pay and commission-based compensation, for this role by location is:

  • New York City, New York: ($206,000.00 - $305,800.00 Annually)
