Varsity Head Girls Wrestling Coach (Non-teaching) - LHS

Under the direction of the Site Principal and Athletic Director, this position has the responsibility for the overall administration of all aspects of a comprehensive high school girls wrestling program. The primary focus will be mentorship, recruitment, administration, and coordination of the program, with the total development of the student-athlete as the highest priority.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, recruit, and coach student-athletes
  • Develop practice plans and competition schedules
  • Manage operating budget
  • Oversee student-athlete academics and program compliance
  • Supervise assistant coaches and other support personnel
  • Ensure adherence to CIF rules and regulations

Requirements

  • Minimum two (2) years of successful (recent) experience at the varsity wrestling level within the last five (5) years
  • Experience working directly with collegiate and/or public school districts is highly desirable
  • Bachelor’s degree desired; Master’s degree desirable
  • Experience as a certificated staff member desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and direct a sports program
  • Working knowledge of CIF rules and regulations
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills

Pay

Single rate stipend of $4,167.90 for the 2026-2027 wrestling season.

Schedule

Seasonal, part-time position for the 2026-2027 school year.
