Varsity Head girls' soccer coach

About the role

The successful candidate will lead the girls' soccer program at DSST: College View High School.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive coaching plan that aligns with the school's mission and values.
• Manage team practices and games, ensuring adherence to league rules and regulations.
• Work closely with the athletic director and other coaches to coordinate schedules and logistics.
• Provide support and guidance to student-athletes, focusing on both their academic and athletic development.
• Attend all home and away games, as well as all school functions related to the soccer program.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of successful coaching experience at the high school level.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the sport of soccer and its rules.
• Experience with player development and team building.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
