About the role
The successful candidate will lead the girls' soccer program at DSST: College View High School.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive coaching plan that aligns with the school's mission and values.
- Manage team practices and games, ensuring adherence to league rules and regulations.
- Work closely with the athletic director and other coaches to coordinate schedules and logistics.
- Provide support and guidance to student-athletes, focusing on both their academic and athletic development.
- Attend all home and away games, as well as all school functions related to the soccer program.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of successful coaching experience at the high school level.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of the sport of soccer and its rules.
- Experience with player development and team building.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
