Head Varsity Girls Soccer Coach

Overview of Essential Functions

• Attend all team activities (games, practices, gatherings, meetings).
• Organize the supervision of transportation to and from games by at least one member of the coaching staff.
• Maintain minimum biweekly email communication with players and families sent by a member of the coaching staff during the season.
• Attend all required athletic department or league meetings.
• Report game results to the Athletic Department as well as respond to emails within 24 hours when in season.
• Responsible for all athletes, equipment, and facilities used while coaching.
• Support the retention and attraction of student athletes to the school.

Desired Education and Experience

• Previous High School, Club Level, or College Level coaching and/or playing experience is required.

Key Skills and Attributes

• Knowledge of soccer techniques and game strategy.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Leadership skills as the leader of the team.
• Ability to collaborate with coaching staff.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Good driving record and ability to drive a school minibus.

Physical Demands

• Standing for long periods of time.
• Riding a school bus long periods of time.
• Drive a minibus.
• Must be able to carry 25 pounds.

Pay

The compensation range for this position is $4,500 – $5,500 per season. This position does not have benefits associated with it due to the part-time nature.
