About the Role
Varsity Boys Wrestling Head Coach for the upcoming 2026/2027 winter season (November 2026 - March 2027).
Responsibilities
- Organize and schedule all practices.
- Organize and care for all related equipment.
- Manage student behavior during practices and contests.
- Communicate with students, parents, and other coaches.
- Submit athletes' contracts, physicals, and all required paperwork to the athletic office or the appropriate designee in a timely fashion.
- Adhere to rules and regulations of Clarkston Community Schools and the MHSAA, including relevant timelines.
- Adhere to CCS Code of Conduct.
Requirements
- Knowledge of MHSAA wrestling.
- Prior coaching experience preferred.
- Great organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire confidence in and motivate players.
- Must complete the EduStaff hiring process and fingerprint background check prior to working with athletes.
Pay
Appropriate placement on Schedule A-1 Extracurricular Athletics Pay Schedule.
