About the role
We are looking for a Childcare Professional to join Pilke Daycare Aurora in Kaarina. This role is perfect for you if you want to utilize your skills, develop new ideas, and leave a personal mark in creating a great day for children and colleagues. The position starts in September or as agreed.
Pilke Daycare Aurora is a warm-hearted daycare center with five groups, located near excellent transport links at the border of Turku and Kaarina. Our strengths are kindness, fun, and a work culture where everyone can be themselves. We work wholeheartedly for and with the children. We are now seeking 1-2 additional childcare professionals to strengthen our team. The position is fixed-term until December 18, 2026, with the possibility of extension in January.
Responsibilities
- Support children’s unique abilities and strengths through play-based learning and gentle interaction.
- Work with a solution-focused approach, encouraging experimentation and innovation.
- Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure high-quality early childhood education.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in social and health care (e.g., Childcare Professional, Practical Nurse with a focus on child and youth care, or equivalent).
- Strong pedagogical approach, positive and active attitude, and excellent interaction skills.
- Ability to genuinely connect with children.
- Must present a criminal record extract (as required by Finnish law for those working with children).

Pay
Monthly salary: €2,476.15–€2,677.64, depending on experience.
