About the role

City Electric Supply (CES) is seeking a Van Driver / Warehouse Employee who will handle customer deliveries, pack orders, map routes, manage delivery paperwork, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain the delivery vehicle and its records. The role also supports warehouse functions such as receiving material, organizing the warehouse, shipping materials, and preparing customer orders while collaborating with other branches to ensure consistent service across the CES network.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and follow all traffic regulations.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle safety.
• Maintain cleanliness of the company vehicle.
• Check in and put up stock.
• Help maintain cleanliness of the warehouse.
• Pull orders for deliveries.
• Back up counter staff with orders and customers.
• Assist in counting during stock take.
• Communicate customer feedback to the Branch Manager.
• Support receiving material, organizing the warehouse, shipping materials, and preparing customer orders.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Physical Demands

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing. The employee must be able to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
