About the role

The Van Driver/Warehouse position is responsible for all aspects of customer delivery, including packing orders, mapping delivery routes, handling delivery paperwork, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining the delivery vehicle and its records. The role also involves warehouse functions such as receiving material, maintaining organization, shipping materials, and preparing customer orders, while collaborating with other branches to ensure consistent high‑level service.

Responsibilities

  • Drive safely and follow all traffic regulations.
  • Inspect and maintain vehicle safety.
  • Always maintain cleanliness of the company vehicle.
  • Check in and put up stock.
  • Help maintain cleanliness of the warehouse.
  • Pull orders for deliveries.
  • Back up counter staff with orders and customers.
  • Assist in counting during stock take.
  • Communicate customer feedback to the Branch Manager.
  • Receive material, maintain warehouse organization, ship materials, and prepare customer orders.
  • Work with other branches to ensure customers across the network receive consistently high service.

Qualifications

Education/Experience: Valid driver’s license required.

  • Ability to balance multiple tasks.

Physical Demands

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing. The employee must be able to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
