About the Role

Senior Community Care of Maryland PACE is seeking a Van Driver in Lanham, MD. This is a paid opportunity to serve others in a healthcare setting, dedicated to serving both residents and team members. Senior Community Care of Maryland PACE is a community of Volunteers of America National Services, a subsidiary of the Volunteers of America parent organization. What You'll Be Responsible For

• Responsible for passengers during transport, providing care in a manner which ensures resident satisfaction
• Follows assigned schedule, makes adjustments to meet unanticipated changes, while considering the needs of the resident and requirements of the facility. Communicates these changes to appropriate parties
• Operates equipment safely and in compliance with vehicle licensing regulations
• Maintains and completes daily required records i.e., Pre- and Post-Trip Inspections, gasoline purchases

What You Bring (Requirements)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Enjoy working with the elderly
• If operating company vehicle you must be twenty-one (21) years of age, meet the MVR organization standards, have a valid driver's license, and ability to obtain CDL license within six (6) months of hire
• Able to read and understand maps and routing information

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Range: $20.00-$26.00
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-5:00 PM
