About the role
We are seeking a Daycare Van Driver to join our team. You will be expected to transport children in a safe and timely manner using our 12-passenger van.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Follow the daily transportation schedule
- 8:45am-11am, 2pm-4:30pm, 7pm-8:30pm. Monday-Friday.
- Load and unload children safely - make sure all children are buckled in their seatbelts safely
- Inspect and monitor daycare van regularly following the prompts for the Vehicle Safety Alarm for no children left behind
- Maintain accurate in and out transportation times for each and every child
- Maintain clear communication with management and teachers at the child care center
Requirements
- Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required
- 1-year experience in delivery driving, etc.
- Clean driving record (Your driving record will be checked annually)
- Able to handle physical workload
- Deadline-oriented
- Team-oriented
- Able to follow instructions and adhere to daily changes to the transportation schedule
