Responsibilities

• Pay attention for accurately picking on vehicle and delivery of customer orders and maintaining product temperatures in a multi‑temperature‑controlled vehicle.
• Maintain awareness of Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) Compliance to ensure vehicle checks are completed to a high standard to ensure roadworthiness.
• Perform manual handling of food produce to customers’ premises, complying with Health and Safety (SSOW), hygiene and other related legislation.

Requirements

• Qualified 3.5t Van Driver.
• Extensive road knowledge of the local area.
• Proactive approach to work.

• Strong communication and people skills.
• Ability to follow processes and procedures.
• Flexibility to work in a shift system.
• Ambition to become a HGV2 driver (supported via our driver development programme).

Pay

Annual Salary £23,785.

Schedule

Monday to Saturday, 06:30am start; rest day in the week; 30 hours per week.
