Van Driver

About the Role

Our team is looking to add an upbeat Van Driver to be a key person of reference for guests through unloading and loading luggage and driving them to local points of interest near the hotel. To be successful in this role, you will need to extend professionalism and courtesy, have outstanding communication skills, and have the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. This position may require flexible scheduling availability.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load guest luggage.
• Drive guests to local points of interest and attractions.
• Maintain vehicle mileage log at the beginning and end of each trip, indicating mileage, time, name, and date.
• Ensure vans are clean and all proper vehicle maintenance records are current.
• Report all accidents and/or traffic violations immediately.
• Perform vehicle inspection prior to each trip and upon return to the hotel.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lb.
• Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service.
• Ability to work well in stressful situations.
• Flexible scheduling based on guest occupancy, season, staffing, and other factors.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of local roads and routes to area attractions and points of interest.
• Clean driving record.
• Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement.
• Effective problem‑handling skills, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving workplace issues.

Physical Demands

The employee is regularly required to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and must be able to lift at least 50 lb.
