Job Overview

Drive hotel van or designated vehicles to and from guest destinations in a safe and courteous manner.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all guest requests for shuttle service promptly and courteously; assist guests with luggage while boarding and off‑loading the vehicle.
• Operate the vehicle in accordance with state laws and observe all airport rules pertaining to shuttle vehicles.
• Explain and promote hotel facilities, outlets, and services; provide information about local attractions and activities.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections, correct deficiencies or unsafe conditions, and keep the vehicle clean and neat.
• Address guest requests and complaints in a prompt and professional manner.
• Inform the supervisor of major problems, complaints, disturbances, or dissatisfied guests.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
• Regularly inspect and clear the hotel entrance and surrounding areas of litter and debris.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; one year of guest service or driver experience preferred.
• Fluent English; other languages preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to carry, push, or lift items up to 100 pounds.
• Physical tasks such as bending, stooping, kneeling, and handling luggage.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with guests and employees.
• Reading and writing abilities for completing departmental records, logs, and reading road signs.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Work area: hotel entrance and lobby area.
