Van Driver

About the role

The role involves delivering produce safely and efficiently to customers using a sprinter van. Key responsibilities include accurately checking invoices, handling palletized products, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with credit memos and payments.

Responsibilities

• Accurately check invoices as you make deliveries
• Palletized product will be delivered to customers with hand truck
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Perform superior customer service as you interact with customers at each delivery
• Absorb and issue credit memos and collect payment for COD customers
• Promote & maintain a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented & customer-focused attitude with co-workers & other departments
• Must be comfortable operating a company vehicle equipped with an outward and driver facing dash cam
• Adhere to company policy regarding dash cam usage and data privacy
• Drivers are expected to maintain the functionality of their assigned vehicle's dash cam
• All other duties as requested or assigned

Requirements

• Be 18 years old or older
• Demonstrated ability to lift/ push/ pull 50 lbs. throughout shift
• Per DOT rules, applicant should have the ability to read and understand English
• Satisfactory driving record

Qualifications

• State driver license, good driving record
• At least one year of driving experience, delivery driver experience preferred
• Provide at least five (5) year Driving Record from the DMV
• Valid Medical Card and endorsements
• Pass pre-employment drug test, criminal background check, and reference check
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
• Work an electric/manual pallet jack
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently

Pay

Potential 90-day performance-based raise
Yearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure
