What You’ll Do & Key Responsibilities Safely transport residents to medical appointments, outings, and special eventsAssist residents with boarding and exiting the van, including wheelchair securementFollow schedules and coordinate timely pick-ups and drop-offsObserve residents during transport and report concerns to nursing staffComplete incident reports and communicate with supervisors as neededMaintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning vehicle (fuel, fluids, basic supplies)Coordinate vehicle maintenance and service needsCommunicate daily with nursing and facility teamsBuild positive relationships with residents, families, and staffMaintain reliable attendance and work flexible hours, including weekends Qualifications Minimum 21 years of ageValid Driver’s License with Class D – Chauffeur EndorsementNot more than 2 traffic violations within the last 3 yearsNo previous driving while under the influence convictionsCPR and first aide certification or willingness to accomplish Why Join Care Initiatives?
