Job Overview
East Side Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a compassionate and caring nursing home committed to providing quality care for our residents. We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Bus Driver to join our team and assist in transporting residents to and from medical appointments and community outings.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a bus or other vehicle to transport passengers to designated locations.
• Absorb and assist residents in boarding and exiting the vehicle, ensuring use of seatbelts and mobility devices when needed.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and mechanical soundness.
• Maintain a clean and safe vehicle at all times.
• Provide friendly, patient, and respectful service to elderly residents.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in driving school buses or paratransit vehicles is preferred, but not required.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively with diverse populations, including seniors.
• Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks.
• Able to work flexible hours as needed, including early mornings or late evenings.
