Van Driver - $17.16 - $22.97 - 2 open positions

Branch ISD is seeking a dependable and compassionate Special Education Van Driver to safely transport students to and from school and other designated locations. The ideal candidate will be patient, responsible, safety‑minded, and comfortable working with students who may have a variety of educational and support needs. A strong commitment to student safety, confidentiality, reliability, and positive relationships with students and staff is essential. Appropriate licensing and/or required training will be necessary based on district and state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate a school van safely, following assigned routes and schedules.
• Assist students as needed during transport.
• Maintain a safe and orderly vehicle environment.
• Communicate effectively with school staff and families regarding transportation needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Michigan driver’s license; chauffeur endorsement preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
• School vehicle operation experience preferred.

Pay

Wage Range: $17.16 – $22.97 per hour
