Van Driver (Part-Time)

About the role

Our team is looking to add an upbeat Part-Time Van Driver to be a key person of reference for guests through unloading and loading luggage and driving them to local points of interest near the hotel.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Driver's License and be 21 years of age
• Maintain vehicle mileage log at the beginning and end of each trip indicating mileage, time, name, and date
• Ensure vans are clean and all proper vehicle maintenance records are current
• Report all accidents and/or traffic violations immediately
• Perform vehicle inspection prior to each trip and upon return to the hotel

Job Qualifications

• Knowledge of local roads and routes to area attractions and points of interest
• Having a proper, valid Driver's License and a clean driving record
• Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
• Able to work well in stressful situations
• Effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
• Ability to read and respond to guests promptly and provide excellent guest service

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time

Schedule

The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors. Island Hospitality is unable to guarantee a specific number of work hours per week.
