Job Summary

Mckenzie Valve & Machining LLC is a part of Marmon Holdings, backed by Berkshire Hathaway. We seek a Valve assembler who will perform maintenance, assessment, repair, and testing on various types of industrial valves.

Responsibilities

• Repair and test various valves such as ball valves, gate valves, butterfly valves, safety relief valves, etc.
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, measure, reassemble, and test valves.
• Follow all schematics and documented procedures in accordance with Quality Control and ASME National Board standards.
• Thoroughly complete calibration and documentation associated with testing and repairs.
• Communicate timely updates to management, co-workers, and customers to ensure timely and successful completion of job responsibilities.
• Work closely with co-workers, management, and safety manager to ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant training or experience in valve assembly and repair.
• Knowledge of valve types and their functions.
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
• Basic understanding of safety regulations and OSHA guidelines.
