PCB manufactures sensors used by design engineers and predictive maintenance professionals to test and measure vibration, pressure, force, acoustics, load and shock for test, measurement, monitoring and control requirements. Our sensors support testing in aerospace and defense, automotive, transportation, civil engineering, and general R&D industries. PCB is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Amphenol Corporation.

Responsibilities

  • Define the product family through product routing analysis and appropriate groupings.
  • Create and maintain current/future state value stream maps of the end-to-end value stream(s).
  • Conduct fact-based analysis of the value stream maps.
  • Create and execute an action plan to achieve the future state.
  • Lead and mobilize the people inside and outside of the value stream to enable the required changes (including customers and suppliers).
  • Directly supervise a number of manufacturing supervisors, including their training/career development as well as daily schedules, metrics, and other tactical issues.
  • Achieve corporate targets of budgets, gross margin, yield, scrap, rework, and delivery.
  • Research, analyze, and study existing products, systems, subsystems, test equipment, and processes to improve performance, reliability, quality, and cost.
  • Ensure necessary human resources and other capital needs to support corporate growth targets.
  • Provide support and training with regard to assembly methods, test procedures, ISO 9001 documentation, production equipment, company policies/procedures, etc.
  • Work with supply chain, engineers, and production technicians to improve production yield and solve other product-related problems.
  • Communicate effectively with all functional disciplines.
  • Read and understand common financial reports.
  • Maintain effective communication between management and departments.
  • Promote teamwork, cooperation, and commitment to customer service among team members.
  • Interact with other teams to best serve the customer.
  • Maintain safe work conditions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Education: Four-year degree (Engineering preferred) or equivalent. Advanced degree a plus.
  • Experience: Eight to ten years of experience in a high tech, high model mix manufacturer, at least three of which includes the implementation of Lean in a Leadership role.
  • DFM experience, ERP packages, extensive computer skills, production/assembly experience. 6-sigma certification is also desired.

International Traffic in Arms Regulations

This position requires access to 'controlled technology' as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730 et. seq.) and 'technical data' as defined in the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (22 C.F.R, Chapter 1, Subchapter M).
