About the role

The role will be part of the US Consumer Cards, a market leader in the credit card industry. US Consumer Cards maintains its leadership position by delivering industry-leading products, advanced services, and payment systems that address clients’ evolving needs. US Consumer Cards offers a combination of class-leading proprietary credit cards such as Citi Simplicity, Citi Double Cash, and Citi Rewards products, as well as partner credit cards with iconic industry leaders such as Costco, American Airlines, and Best Buy. These value propositions are supported by a broad range of digital lending programs such as Flex Loan and Flex Pay, and industry-leading digital experiences.

This role is part of the Value team, within the larger US Consumer Cards organization. The Citi Value (Non-Rewards) portfolio is one of the largest in US Consumer Cards—with the most cardmembers and generating the highest returns for the business. This portfolio is a significant strategic focus for the organization, with visibility and attention given its size and profitability. The Company has made significant investments in this area, and the need for new approaches to customer satisfaction and experience with our products is urgent, requiring fresh and innovative thinking.

This role will apply a customer-centric mindset to identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction across all customer touchpoints and will work to realize these changes in collaboration with cross-functional partners in Marketing, Digital, Tech, and Customer Servicing areas. Additionally, this role will serve as the day-to-day product manager of the Secured Credit Card portfolio, ensuring seamless product operation and relevant customer treatments, from acquisitions to graduation into an unsecured product.

Responsibilities

  • Outline optimal Value customer interactions aligned with the portfolio strategy and implement a robust pipeline of improvements across Value customer touchpoints in partnership with cross-functional partners (Marketing, Digital, Servicing).
  • Assist with new product development efforts.
  • Manage day-to-day operations for the Secured credit card portfolio.
  • Lead portfolio compliance with policies and other governance processes.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Working knowledge of the credit card industry and competitor products/services.
  • Customer-centric mindset.
  • Ability to quickly identify issues, analyze situations, and develop effective solutions.
  • Comfort with analyzing data, identifying trends, and reviewing credit card PnL.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Project management and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred.

Pay

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range: $156,160.00 - $234,240.00. In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
