Valley Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Security Functions at Valley Sites
• Access Control for Site and Creating/Managing Access Badges
• CCTV Monitoring
• Commercial Vehicle Screening
• Foot Patrols
• Fire System Inspections
• Maintain Security Logs
• Escort Personnel
• Crowd Control and Traffic Control
• Document Incidents and Reports
• Conduct Safety/Security Inspections
• Coordinate Emergency Services
• Execute Crisis Management Plan
• Respond to Alarms and Requests for Help and Assist in Evacuations Drills

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent
• 3 Years Security / Law Enforcement / Military Experience
• Must possess or obtain BSIS Guard Card at start date
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift items up to 50 lbs
• Must be available to work/rotate to all shifts/sites (day/swing/grave) as needed

Qualifications

College Degree in relevant field of study may be considered in lieu of years of service.

Schedule

This is a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, hazardous materials, and heavy machinery in varying work and weather conditions. You may be required to occasionally climb stairs and/or ladders, and catwalks, or travel to other sites.
