Duties & Responsibilities
- Execute validation protocols involving testing shipping containers and/or subcomponents under simulated thermal conditions.
- Organize and maintain inventory of validation and packaging lab supplies, including sample products, subcomponents, and ancillary materials.
- Conduct incoming bulk chemical inspections and perform necessary adjustments and recertifications as required.
- Capture production data in a production environment using production machinery and interact with machine operators.
- Operate a CNC corrugate cutting table to produce components for customer product samples and/or production.
- Maintain a high level of organization and cleanliness in a laboratory setting, including material inventory, electronic data storage, spreadsheets, and project files.
- Perform preventative maintenance and adhere to a calibration schedule for testing equipment and oversee an inventory of validation supplies.
- Configure testing interfaces for data capture and execute chamber qualification after scheduled maintenance and/or calibration.
- Repair and maintain thermocouple probes and wiring harnesses.
- Perform additional special projects as needed to support product release and/or technical service investigations.
Qualifications/Experience
- High School Diploma or GED with 1 to 2 years of work experience in a lab or testing environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal), strong attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and driven to exceed goals, with a willingness to act with urgency and take ownership of assigned tasks.
- Experience with using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a preference for autonomy and accountability.
