Valet - Sol

Purpose

The Valet is responsible for welcoming guests upon arrival, promptly retrieving their vehicles, maintaining organized records of parked vehicles, and ensuring safe and efficient parking.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Effectively and efficiently park customer vehicles.
• Return customer vehicles upon request in a timely fashion.
• Greet customers in a courteous manner; provide Premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor and willingness to help.
• Communicate with customers and staff who have general inquiries about parking, parking locations, and guest services.
• If applicable at the location, accept cash payments for valet services.
• Work independently and as part of the team
• Observe safety precautions at all times.
• Accurately use claim check process to return the correct vehicle to each guest.
• Follow all procedures and policies to ensure the safety of all employees and guests.
• Assists and/or completes additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have valid CA Driver’s License.
• Clean “MVR” Motor Vehicle Report.
• Excellent communication skills including writing and speaking.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.

• Fast paced, high-volume, full-service restaurant
• Work varied shifts to include days, nights, weekends and holidays.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to repeat the same movements for long periods of time.
• Ability to understand the speech of another person.
• Ability to speak clearly so listeners can understand.
