Valet Parking Cashier

About the role

Serves as primary point of contact for external and internal guest inquiries related to Valet Parking and Guest Services requests. Collects payment for parking services and accurately posts the payment. Deposits all cash receipts in accordance with established procedures. Directs valet parkers to retrieve the car. Monitors valet workflow, guest parking and luggage requests, and special handling instructions, ensuring timely service and accurate documentation. Maintains accurate control of keys for parked cars. Maintains and provides accurate logs, parking records, guest preference profiles, and service request data within the property management system. Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints, assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, etc.

Qualifications

• Experience driving vehicles with both manual and automatic transmission preferred.
• Previous experience in guest oriented, fast paced work environment is preferred.
