Valet/Bellman - Ritz Carlton, Singer Island

About the role

We are seeking a service-oriented Bellman/Valet to join our team at the Ritz Carlton - Singer Island. In this role, you will provide a seamless arrival and departure experience by assisting guests with luggage transportation and escorting them to their rooms in a professional and friendly manner. Your primary goal is to ensure the safety of guest belongings and deliver top-tier hospitality from the moment they arrive until they depart.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with luggage transportation and escort them to their rooms.
• Provide accurate information to customers and co-workers.
• Respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events.
• Work special shifts as needed, including 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or weekends.

Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, add, and subtract U.S. currency, and comprehend instructions, emails, and memos.
• Flexibility to work PM shifts and weekends (strong preference for candidates with flexible availability).
• Valid state driver’s license, current address, and an acceptable driving record.
• Proof of eligibility to work legally in the U.S. (valid documentation required if hired).

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Valet is a plus.
• Ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift) is a plus.

Skills

• Strong customer service orientation.
• Effective communication and adaptability.
• Safety-consciousness, especially in traffic situations.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, talk, and listen.
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Regular exposure to outside weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
• Regular exposure to high levels of noise and/or vehicle fumes.
• Work in and around potentially dangerous traffic situations.

Pay

$15.00 per hour + tips.
