About the Role

The Guest Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner. This includes parking and retrieving guest vehicles, assisting with luggage, and offering various guest services.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients.
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet, using their last names and a professional, friendly demeanor.
  • Use salutation of the day, welcome guests to the location, and practice proper phone etiquette.
  • Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously, assist with bell services and luggage storage, and open vehicle and hotel doors for guests.
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries, providing information about facilities and local attractions.
  • Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested, and shuttle guests to approved locations.
  • Explain parking rates and procedures, issue claim checks, and consistently complete and maintain ticket information.
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or a commutable distance.
  • One month of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills

  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak standard English.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with American money.
  • Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems.
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

  • Frequent sitting, standing, running, walking, and handling objects.
  • Lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly.
  • Outdoor work in extreme heat and cold weather conditions.
  • Up to 5% travel may be required.

Pay

The hourly base pay is $14-$16 per hour.
